New Exam Blueprint for the Official (ISC)² CISSP CBK to Commence Effective 15 April 2015

Thank you for taking the CISSP Training with us the past year. Some of you would have already taken the exam and some are planning to take the exams in 2015. As such, we would like to bring to your attention an important announcement made by (ISC)2 with regards to a newly improved and enhanced CISSP training. (ISC)² has announced changes to their syllabus domains in which will affect their examination blueprint. The new exam blueprint will be up effective of April 15th 2015. The new blueprint came about to ensure that the exam stays relevant amidst the changes occurring in the information security field. Refreshed technical content has been made to the Official (ISC)² CISSP CBK to reflect the most current topics in the information security industry today. For more information please go to

Therefore, participants are advised to sit for the exam prior to the new effective date of April 15th 2015. For those who plan to sit for the exams after April 15th 2015, do note that you would need to retake the CISSP course in order to sit for the exam, as exams taken from 15th April 2015 onwards will be based on the new syllabus.

It was the first certification in the field of information security to meet the stringent requirements of ISO/IEC Standard 17024.

The CISSP exam tests one's competence in the ten CISSP domains of the (ISC)CBK®, which cover critical topics in security today, including risk management, cloud computing, mobile security, application development security and more. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in two of the ten domains. This vast breadth of knowledge and the experience it takes to pass the exam is what sets the CISSP apart. Computer Based Testing (CBT)

(ISC)² is pleased to provide the opportunity for candidates to take computerised examinations via Computer-Based Testing (CBT) at local testing centres worldwide. This new testing method provides candidates with top-of-the-line security measures and a comfortable testing environment. Further, candidates are able to take their examination closer to home, saving both time and money.

Special Scheme for Malaysian Organisations/Participants:

The MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI) - 75% reimbursement of the total exam fees leading to an approved certification capped at RM2000 per participant, whichever is lower.The reimbursement is subjected to MSC’s budget allocation and fund availability at the time of submission.
